Long Reach and Long Arm tools are used specifically to gain
entry into vehicles when the keys are not accessible. Long Reach tools are inserted between the
window or door and the door frame. The
end of the Long Reach Tool is then guided into the passenger compartment of the
vehicle. Depending on the vehicle,
either depress the unlock button, pull the handle, lift the lock button, or
retrieve the keys with the Long Reach Tools as if you were sitting inside the
vehicle.
